So How Does it Work?

The laser emitted from the machine delivers an intense beam of light, which is absorbed by the hair follicle and then converted into heat. The heat damages the targeted hair follicle, preventing/slowing down its regrowth, ensuring the surrounding tissue remains unaffected.

Depending on the skin tone of each individual, two common wavelengths are used. Lighter skin tones (Fitzpatrick Skin Type I-III) will be treated using a wavelength of 755nm, whereas darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick Skin Type IV-VI) will be treated using a wavelength of 1064nm.

Each session of laser hair removal causes an average of 5-10% hair reduction, however it can vary from individual to individual.
